Do you shoot out-of-town weddings?
Yes, we love the opportunity to travel and capture beautiful destination weddings! Whether you are planning an adventure wedding or a cozy retreat, we are excited to be a part of your special day. We have experience shooting weddings in various locations and are comfortable working in different environments and cultures. Please note that travel costs will be an additional fee to our packages, and we require a signed contract and a non-refundable retainer fee to secure your date on our calendar. Contact us to discuss your destination wedding plans and receive a customized quote.
Do you offer just engagement shoots?
Yes, we offer engagement sessions as a separate service or add-on to our wedding packages. Engagement sessions are a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. They also provide a beautiful set of images that you can use to announce your engagement and/or display at your wedding.
Can I extend coverage of my wedding day?
Yes, we can generally accommodate requests to extend our coverage on the wedding day. Additional fees will apply, and the rate will depend on your specific circumstances. We understand that last-minute changes can happen, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs while keeping the cost reasonable.
What is your style?
Our style is a blend of traditional and candid photography. We aim to capture the timeless, classic moments of your wedding day and the spontaneous and candid moments that truly reflect your personality and relationship. Mixing both styles results in a well-rounded and beautiful collection of images.
How do we book you for our wedding?
To book us for your wedding, please contact us through our website or email at info@emphotos.ca to check our availability for your date. We require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit fee to secure your date on our calendar. We recommend booking as soon as possible to ensure we are available for your wedding.
How many images/minutes of footage will we receive?
The number of images/minutes of footage you will receive will depend on the length of your event and the package you choose. We strive to deliver a thorough and comprehensive collection of images/footage that accurately reflects your special day. You can generally expect to receive a lot more or less per hour images/minutes of footage, depending on how your wedding day is structured. Examples of factors that may affect the total amount of images/minutes of footage: are travel between locations, weather, time, etc.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes, we always have backup equipment on hand to ensure that we can continue to capture your special day, even in the event of any technical difficulties. We take great care to maintain our equipment, but it's always better to be safe than sorry!
Do you have a rain backup plan?
Yes, we always have a rain backup plan to ensure that your wedding day runs smoothly and that we can capture beautiful images no matter the weather. We have experience working in various weather conditions and are prepared to adapt to changing circumstances. If it looks like rain is in the forecast, we will work with you to devise a contingency plan, such as moving the ceremony indoors or finding a covered location for photos. Rest assured that we will do our best to ensure that your special day is as stress-free and enjoyable as possible, rain or shine.
When will our photos/videos be ready?
It typically takes 4-24 weeks for us to deliver your final photos/videos. We take great care in the post-processing and editing of your images/footage to ensure that they are of the highest quality, and we want to make sure that we allocate enough time to do them justice. In the meantime, we will provide you with a sneak peek of a few images within a few days of your wedding, so you can relive the special moments while you wait for the rest. Your final photos/videos will be delivered to you by an online gallery.
